The Napa Valley of The South

I woke up yesterday and looked out the window and it looked beautiful. Oh, I was fooled. The wind was blowing at a rate of 20-25 mph and the temperature was freezing! Today, the story was different. I hopped out of bed, cooked breakfast and drank tea and just glanced out the window. The sun was shining bright and  Mother Nature finally got herself together. Geezzzz! I thought to myself, "I should go to the vineyards today and let the wine warm me up!" 

And it happened. Off to North Georgia I go and the views were spectacular. I enjoy the vineyards in this area because they are very close to home.  Where in the South can you drive to see 6-7 vineyards within 10 minutes from each other? Ummmm, nowhere. If you are in Georgia or the boarding states, visit this area for a Southern treat. Start your tour at Frogtown Cellars, go up the street and sip at Three Sister and then head to Wolf Mountain. 

The beautiful North Georgia Wine Country has been labeled the Napa Valley of The South.
